More than pleased; the racquet enhances my slice serve & drop shot! Thank you!

Great pop with volleys and baseline drives. Plenty of feel with mid court resets. This is my second Ronbus Ripple.

Love the Ronbus Ripple this is my 3rd Ripple! I started with the Beta version R1 got it on ebay brand new. The Ripple v1 R1 is such a fantastic paddle i think they got scared it would take over the name brands then it got banned, i went with a used ripple v2 r4.14 since all the crazy reviews on the ripple itself made alot of us question if we should even try the v2 line. I'm glad i did and yes they got it totally wrong; it's by far one of the best foam paddles out there with a lil weight it really opens up the sweet spot which was already good but with a 14 inch paddle it just needs a lil tweak and boy oh boy once its broken in its a dream foam paddle with a carbon fiber core it doesn't get much better and im an intermediate player! My drives were great and drops are just really really good, and dinks are easy once you spend time with it there's nothing you can't do with this paddle! I just wish the grit lasted longer but i will still keep buying it as long as they carry this paddle! Ronbus made something special with the ripple line and yes i got another v2 r4.14 from Ronbus this time; there is just nothing else like it and i have more fun playing with this paddle than any other paddle!!! I have tried quite a few paddles and i always go back to the Ripple especially the V2R4.14 Thank you Ronbus for all your hard work it hasn't gone unnoticed and i have even seen some at the club i play at and they beat them joola's and selkirks on the court!

Small sweet spot.
Not much power.

I have to re-adjusted to control to ball because I get used to played with 16mm paddles. It a great paddle and I think I will love it .

Power with Control

This is simply the most well rounded power paddle on the market. After it breaks in, which takes about 5-10 hrs, it has the best control of any top tier power paddle. It’s different than most foam paddles in that the control increases after break in instead of the power increasing. A little weight from the handle up to the 4 and 8 position provides stability and improves sweet spot without making it too heavy. This is the only paddle that has top tier power with top tier control and the most amazing pocketing feel a paddle can have.

Good power and great spin

Too poppy and needs control. Would appreciate it if you make an elongated paddle.

Iconic paddle!

Ripple sparked significant controversy over the past 18 months. While its influence has waned, it will be remembered as a pioneering technology that helped shape the market. Under PBCor 43 regulations, it remains one of the most powerful legal instruments ever introduced. Among the lineup, the R4 sshines when you need versatility and have confidence to control your shots / power output. Every moment with it was a blast.

POWER

Love that Ronbus released the R4 shape for a true hybrid. The Ripple V2 gives effortless pop and power! I added weight to the bottom corners for extra stability.

BEST PADDLE IN THE LINEUP

In my opinion, this is the best paddle that ronbus offers. Amazing power, especially from the baseline. Its a smidge topheavy which is balanced with a little lead tap. Counters are hot, baseline drives are heavy and dwell time feels great for dinking and resets. My husband loves this one too.

Deceptive!

With just a smidge less than the legendary Beta Ripple, this paddle hits hard but with hardly any sound, it will deceive your opponents. It is more stable than the twist weight suggests. Excellent power paddle.

Ripple R4

This paddle rips! I've been using it since its release and really enjoying it. Top tier power and pop... drives and resets are fantastic. The touch at the net can take some getting used to... I highly recommend it!

Powerful paddle with limited sweet spot

Ripple v2 r4.14 is hybrid shape like many of the new paddle. It is easier to use compare to gen 2 and 1. It’s way more powerful on the drive. The only downside is that you can’t get the same control like ripple and feel. I might still get new quanta line to see if that’s good enough.14mm feels good and plush. It just doesn’t offer sweet spot and control as many would like.

Redefining the Power Paddle space

The R4 was a great addition to the Ronbus line and has served well as the median between the reach and forgiveness of the R3 and R2 shapes. The Ripple V2 feels pleasant off the face and packs top-tier power and pop.

The Ripple still rips

2nd version of the Ripple 2.0 that I own. This shape is now my main and so is this paddle. Loved the R1 shape of the v2 Ripple. However the heavy swing weight shifted me to this shape. Improved sweet spot and handling w/this shape. Better for doubles still brings the power & pop for hand battles at the net!My only negative about this paddle is the hefty weight even in this shape compared to a lot of other power paddles of this era.

Almost the perfect paddle

I love the power and spin that I can generate from this paddle. However it’s not the most forgiving of paddles. You need to be pretty dialed in or you’ll be popping up the ball. Like anything it’s gonna take some time to master but I’m optimistic that this will be my go to moving forward.

My Go To Paddle

I'm a Ronbus fan boy and the Ripple V2 R4.14 has become my go to paddle. I've always played with 16mm Ronbus products, so it took an adjustment period to play with the Ripple. But after adding a few weights, this paddle has lived up to all my expectations. The power, pop, control, drops, volleys and resets are easily at my disposal at any given game situation. So if you're looking for an all around paddle that can be tweaked to your liking, this may be your answer. Let's go!

V2 R4

I’m using this paddle as my main. I like the old R1 shape a little better but went with this one cause of the swing weight

My gamer paddle

I’ve tried many paddles and so far the Ripple V2 R4 is my favourite and preferred gamer paddle. Powe is more than enough, so much that I gave a bruise to an opponent. Control is excellent - able to place shots where I want with ease. Spin is good, a lil poppy for dinks but just need to get used to the paddle. Sounded and felt hollow at first and solved using by adding lead weights.

It's a Ripple!

Not much of a drop-off in power from its predecessor, and I haven't experienced any drop in pop. The R4 has great maneuverability at the net, and the increase in swing weight seemed only minutely noticeable. Overall a great shape for this paddle. Resets are still intuitive, drops are seamless, and great defensively at the net.

Fast swings and hands battle winner!

This paddle is great if you want to have quick hands at the kitchen and the drives feel light. It has the lowest swing weight out of all of them and with 3in .5 lead tape at the 8 and 4 position make this paddle sturdy and solid.

Best paddle ever used

Coming from a control paddle it only took me a couple of games to get used to this paddle, after that, the paddle felt so natural, like an extension of my hand, no even need to add weights, the power is top tier, spin is excellent, control is amazing (even better to my last control paddle). Heard some people complaining that the swing weight is a bit heavy, definitely did not felt that, and I feel it fast in hand battles on the net, and I was able to comeback with power when other players speed up the ball to me.

Solid

This is my first hybrid paddle- much faster than elongated in the kitchen zone. Feels solid on all shots, no vibration to cause tennis elbow. Touch is good. Control is surprisingly great- feel like I know where every shot is going. Power is good. Added lead from handle to 4/8. Very happy with this paddle. After initial break-in time paddle seems very sturdy and reliable. Have used about a month. Hope it holds up- feels like it will. Great job Ronbus.

Most complete shape so far

Love this shape and what it offers in terms of weight, reach, and power! My friend stole mine for a few weeks now it’s so good

eventually WOW

I started with this paddle as it was the lighter of 2. It surely had both power and pop, but I was hitting ball astray. But after a number of hours either the paddle or I seemed to "break in". Now I'm having a great time- balls go where I want them to go, my serves are a variety of spins. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Thank you Ronbus!

Decent, But Not the Right Fit for Everyone

The Ronbus R4 is a decent paddle, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. It has a very poppy feel, which made it a bit tough to control on softer shots or finesse play at the kitchen. You will need to spend a couple days dialing down the extra pop.One thing that stood out was the high swing weight, especially considering the level of stability. It feels heavier through the swing than you’d expect, but without the solid, planted feel you'd hope for in return. It definately needed extra weight tape to add stability to block harder drives.Build quality and surface spin are good, but overall it didn’t feel as refined as some other paddles I’ve played with. Personally, I think the JOOLA Pro IV's are better overall paddles. Not a bad option if you want something with pop and decent spin, but there are more well-rounded choices out there.

Best Paddle EVER

I’ve been using the R1 Nova for over a year now, and told myself that it was time for an upgrade. I heard about the original Ripple, but wasn’t able to obtain one, which prompted me to look into the new V2, specifically the R4 shape. I LOVE this paddle. It has insane power and spin. Reviewers say it’s heavier, and yes, you can feel it a bit, but you get used to it after a couple games, especially if you add weighted tape around the neck. I can say enough about the R4, it’s helped me win games that I wouldn’t win before. I’m definitely going to stay brand loyal to Ronbus!

Poppy

Loved the paddle at first. Switched from the TruFoam 2. Over 2 weeks the paddle has gotten soo poppy I cant even use it. The spin has also been reduced drastically. The face grit is almost smooth and my spin tests went from low 2000s down to 1600 in just over 2 weeks. Love the shape. I thought this was going to be my new main but for sale it goes...

Disappointing...

I guess my expectations were too high, especially after waiting for such a long time. It's still a good paddle, but in my opinion there are much better paddles for lower prices. Also the return policy is disappointing. Luckily I bought my Ripple from an online store that let's you use the paddle for 30 days and still return it. I only used it for one day and already knew that the Ripple isn't my go to.
