Great Paddle
Perfect fit between r1 and r2. Very responsive in all aspects of the game. Still has top tier power with great spin and pop. The ball feel really nice coming off the face.Definitely recommend it.

Easy got to paddle !
The R4 Ripple hits a perfect spot among the series. I feel the power and pop is slightly below the R1 and R2 versions however the SW and TW for the shape makes it so maneuverable, fast in the hands yet still pretty forgiving. The relatively lower pop and power makes it easy to control in soft game, but at the same time I can swing it faster generating top tier power in drives and put-aways.

Best Paddle on the Market
Received this paddle and at first I didn't like it. Played about 15 hours with it and it is my main paddle going forward. The paddle opened up and is plush with a still connected feel for soft game. My favorite part is the ability to finish a firefight with spinny paced counters and flicks. This shape is very maneuverable and I think this will be the most popular shape of the Ripple line-up

love it
plays well, good response, still lots of spin - i thought more power would reduce spin, but it seems jsut a 'grippy' I wanna try all the new ripples and compare

Ripple V2R4.14 Review
Very impressed with the final version of the Ripple! Soft feel off the paddle yet plenty of pop when needed. One of the few paddles out there to truly combine those characteristics. Initial weight was around 8.0oz, did bring it up to 8.3oz with some lead tape, with the bulk low on the paddle. Like to keep the swing weight fast. Very stable solid feeling paddle. If the durability is very good will for sure be one of the best paddles available.

Quick and Light
Added 3 gm at 5 & 7 for stable feel and bigger sweet spot. Yet at 8.3 oz, it was still light and quick. Serves were fast and deep. Quick on flicks and at net. Very poppy in mid-court and probably needed more play time to soften. Still has great spin for control. Plays closer to widebody than elongated.

Disappointing...
I guess my expectations were too high, especially after waiting for such a long time. It's still a good paddle, but in my opinion there are much better paddles for lower prices. Also the return policy is disappointing. Luckily I bought my Ripple from an online store that let's you use the paddle for 30 days and still return it. I only used it for one day and already knew that the Ripple isn't my go to.

Poppy
Loved the paddle at first. Switched from the TruFoam 2. Over 2 weeks the paddle has gotten soo poppy I cant even use it. The spin has also been reduced drastically. The face grit is almost smooth and my spin tests went from low 2000s down to 1600 in just over 2 weeks. Love the shape. I thought this was going to be my new main but for sale it goes...

Best Paddle EVER
I’ve been using the R1 Nova for over a year now, and told myself that it was time for an upgrade. I heard about the original Ripple, but wasn’t able to obtain one, which prompted me to look into the new V2, specifically the R4 shape. I LOVE this paddle. It has insane power and spin. Reviewers say it’s heavier, and yes, you can feel it a bit, but you get used to it after a couple games, especially if you add weighted tape around the neck. I can say enough about the R4, it’s helped me win games that I wouldn’t win before. I’m definitely going to stay brand loyal to Ronbus!

Decent, But Not the Right Fit for Everyone
The Ronbus R4 is a decent paddle, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. It has a very poppy feel, which made it a bit tough to control on softer shots or finesse play at the kitchen. You will need to spend a couple days dialing down the extra pop. One thing that stood out was the high swing weight, especially considering the level of stability. It feels heavier through the swing than you’d expect, but without the solid, planted feel you'd hope for in return. It definately needed extra weight tape to add stability to block harder drives. Build quality and surface spin are good, but overall it didn’t feel as refined as some other paddles I’ve played with. Personally, I think the JOOLA Pro IV's are better overall paddles. Not a bad option if you want something with pop and decent spin, but there are more well-rounded choices out there.
