R2 PULSAR FX

This is my 5th Ronbus paddle and so far my favorite. The soft, plush feel combined with a satisfying level of crispness is truly unique. The paddle feels so sturdy and stable it frankly feels indestructible. The spin is quite good as well and drives and put aways are exceptional. The entire paddle face feels like a sweet spot and find dinking and drops come easy. Feels a little heavy but not head heavy and definitely easy to maneuver. This is the first paddle I’ve played with that feels like it needs absolutely no modification with weighted tape or overgrip. This is my new paddle of choice. AWESOME work, Ronbus!!

This is the best paddle that I've ever played with! I started off with the original R3, into the R1P, and then the R1 Nova and man this paddle feels like it took all the best parts and fit it into one. My drops and resets have never been cleaner and it still has enough power for dipping drives. I honestly believe that if more people knew about the benefits of a standard shape paddle (new R2 shape) a lot of people would flock to it! Maybe its the lower SW compared to other paddles, but this feels smooth in the hands and feels like it's the perfect paddle for doubles. Awesome job Ronbus team!

This is my 6th Ronbus paddle, and I have been waiting for them to do the R2 shape which is basically a standard shaped paddle of 16 inches high and 8 inches wide. As with all Mr. Dong Ronbus products, it was worth the wait. More control oriented due to the shape and great swing weight. Also, since the swing weight is low, you can, as I did, put some lead/tungsten tape on the 4 and 8 positions, right underneath the Ronbus side logos, and it gives this great paddle a power and sweet spot boost. Very recommended for how well it plays, and how much Ronbus always gives you the best bang for your buck in pickleball paddles. Love the new color scheme. My only recommendation would be to include the Ronbus paddle cover please. Think this very useful and with the carbon fiber surfaces. Thank you and hope this helps someone. Keep up the great work.

I started with the R1 Pulsar in late 2023 and loved every minute of play. Got my hands on a R2 FX Alpha and my game changed for the better. The wider profile, surface texture, and weight was perfect. Loved it so much that I bought the the R2 FX Beta and was very happy to find the small changes incorporated into it. Love the power, spin, and control. Made no changes except to add edge guard and overgrip. I am occasionally hitting some flyers on long drives to the baseline, but that will soon be eliminated with court time. The ability to transition from power to dunks and drops is fantastic. I recommend this paddle to my friends and have let several try it out. Hope to see more Ron us paddles in play down here. My only suggestion is to include the paddle cover. Add the $10 to the retail price. Thanks for making such a quality product.

This is my 5th Ronbus paddle and it's the best one so far, but I said the same thing about the R1 Nova that I currently play. Easy transition from the R1 Nova to this paddle. It feels plush but still has very good power. Topspin is effortless, whether it's high looping deep serves or drips. The R1 Nova seems to have a tiny bit more pop, but the R2P FX is more than adequate at the net. The twist weight and swing weight are great, I've playing it straight out of the packaging without adding lead/tungsten and I couldn't be happier with how it performs. Drinks and resets are incredibly easy and almost intuitive. Ronbus, you knocked it out of the park again!

Wow! Ronbus keeps upping the game. I got one of these as soon as I could. It feels like the entire face is a sweet spot. My ratio of shots going where I hoped to the ones that just go vastly improved. No mishits unless the ball hits my hand. It weighs 8.47 so I didn't mess with extra weighting but can't see why I'd need it. I have lighter Ronbus paddles but this one seems to have improved my hand speed reaction. I'll get the approved one as soon as it's available

The R2 Pulsar FX is perfect for those looking for a more powerful standard/wider shaped paddle. The sweet spot is large, it has a nice pop for punches, and there is a plushness in the dinks and resets similar to the Nova. It does lean a little more on the head heavier side than other wide/standard options but hand battles are still fast. The R2 feels more like an all court paddle to me.

I'm new to pickleball with a tennis background. I wanted a standard shape, all-around paddle and heard good things about Ronbus. This R2 Pulsar FX is perfect for my developing game. It makes dinks seem effortless, the control is much appreciated. It helps me avoid pop-ups and I feel really comfortable at net. The power is more than sufficient on serves and drives, at least at my level. I couldn't be more pleased and despite testing out a few other paddles, I keep coming back to this one. Please include a paddle cover in the future!

I started out with the R1 Pulsar, then onto the R1 Nova - which I still use regularly. I decided to buy the R1 Pulsar FX out of curiosity. This paddle has a light swing weight, thus I added 2 small strips of lead tape (less than 1oz total) to the 11 and 1 o'clock. The ball bounces off the paddle effortlessly which elevates my volleys. I also get consistent depth on my serves (both w topspin and sidespint). The drive requires a more compact backswing and the speed and spin of the ball are incredible. Perhaps I will switch to the R2 Pulsar FX full-time later this fall. This is one sweet paddle.

Love this paddle. The R2 shape has a very large sweet spot, great pop, and terrific maneuverability. Excellent control and spin allows you to place shots exactly where you want. Great for resets and counters. A complete paddle that’s a game changer. Could not be happier.
