Good power and excellent control
I really like this paddle. I tried playing with it at the stock weight of 7.65oz. During my serves I would swing hard. The ball would land deep while staying in bounds. If I swung the same way with my beta Ripple the ball would have definitely gone out. With the Quanta, I feel like I'd really need to overhit the ball to send it of bounds. This paddle has enough power and pop to be offensive while still maintaining excellent control. It excels at dinking, drops, and resets. I added 3 grams of weight to each side and there was a noticeable increase in power. I'll need to play more with the added weight to get a feel for it.

Great feel
This paddle feels fantastic. I have it weighted from 3:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00. Total weight is 8.4 oz. My paddle of choice is the Nova R1. I don't care for the power paddle feel. This felt like a Nova with more pop but still plush feeling. Absolutely love it on counters. I'm an instructor in IL and let clients try it and Boomstick was getting all the hype until they tried the Quanta. Four clients ordered it immediately.

Beta Ripple reborn
My search is over after my last main Beta Ripple was banned. There just isn’t another paddle out there since the Beta Ripple that was light swingweight and elite power pop and control. Am 4.0 senior with bad tennis elbow so can’t handle the heavy paddles. If you’re hurting or a junior give these customizable lightweights a try.

My fav. Hybrid paddle
I pre ordered R4 together with R2, I usually like standard shape for I only play doubles. But with this paddle and with how forgiving it is once I put 5 inch of 1g per inch tape, it became my second fav. paddle next to the R2. I’m so happy with my Quanta R2and R4 that I gave my CRBN TFG2 to my wife now.

Customize King
Great paddle! You definitely need weights to bring out its full potential but it makes the paddle super fun to play since you can design it however you want! Plays like a 280 paddle for super cheap!

Such a Great Paddle
I did a long review on the R2 as I purchased them at the same time. I played with the R4 a lot today. As of my previous review under the R2, I felt that I may have preferred the R2 more than the R4. After today, such is not the case. They are both excellent. So much so, I just ordered the R1 to test it and compare. You definitely can't go wrong with either the R4 or R2. Currently my two favorite paddles and you wouldn't believe the collection I have which includes other notable foam paddles which I like a great deal. Weighted, these two are excellent. $300+ paddles and $250+ paddles and in my opinion $200+ dollars are simply over priced period. With my ridiculous paddle collection, I could absolutely get by with nothing but Quanta paddles. Because I am in fact a paddle nut, and if the R1 is as good as the R4 and R2, at this point I feel the ultimate paddle collection would be the 3 Quanta paddles I mentioned. I can't speak on the R3 or R5 because more than likely I won't buy either being that I will own the R1, R2 and R4 with the R1 on the way. I didn't imagine I was going to do this but I'm thinking about FB market placing some of my other very new top notch paddles now. $99 bucks with discount code???? This is the easiest paddle purchase in all of pickleball. Foam??? What a deal. Top notch control from both the R4 and R2. Love the low static weight out of box for optimal customization. Ronbus nailed it with this paddle. Again, easiest paddled recommendation currently in all of pickleball. Do not pay over $200 for a paddle. I'll admit, there are some very good under $200 paddles out there that if money was no option, yes I'd consider being that I own them, but even they are not better than these Quanta paddles in my hands. I also own $200+ paddles and one more than that. Not better than the Quanta. No way. I'd give the edge to the Quanta. There are no paddles better than the R2, R4 combo if I'm spending $200 and frankly either the R4 or R2 by themselves I would pick over any paddles by themselves in my ridiculous stupid collection which is exactly why I just, within the last hour ordered the R1. Occasionally I enjoy the extra reach but I also enjoy the extra control from the R2 and R4. Crazy thing is right now, I'm not even sure which one of the R2, R4 is easier to control. No solid winner there. They are different however and feel quite different.

Light and great control
One will have fast hands with his light hybrid. For a nice bump in power, add about 4 grams on each side.

Quantus r4
Very light paddle out of the box. Boo no head cover but i guess at $99 you cant really feel bad about it. I added 6 grams at the 3/9 oclock and 6 grams at tge 5/7 oclock positions. Also for the first time added 6 grams on the handle. Added a total of 30 grams. This thing hits like a tank. Serves are powerful and the control and stability is awesome. I did try it with less weight, but it was a bit unstable at the net. I love it!

Great Hybrid Shape
Love this shape as it is light but whippy making it an absolute menace at the kitchen and baseline. Very versatile and allows plenty of room for customization to fit the users taste.
