The best paddle
I preordered Quanta R2 and R4 and as soon as I get them put 5 grams of tungsten each side total of 10 grams. My tape set up was 4 inch of 0.5 per gram tungsten then I put 3grams pre cut on top of the 4 inch tungsten, at 3 and 9 o’ clock. For me it’s the best set up. I tried 6 grams each side total of 12g and for me it’s too heavy.

A Very Very Good Paddle
I've definitely weighted this paddle as has been suggested by different guys who have done professional video reviews. I weighted it first with 12 grams tungsten near the center of the edge guard. Didn't like it. Change my weight set up and love it now. Weights 5 -2 o'clock and 7-10 o'clock approximately. This paddle is so easy to control with so much pop. I have SEVERAL other paddles that I like a lot from various other manufactures some of which are also notable and popular foam paddles. I "believe" I like this one the best. They are all different and different temperature conditions alters the way the ball comes off the face, but currently in warm conditions 80+ degrees I really love this paddle. We will see how it handles when the temperature drops. Right now, I "feel" it's my favorite paddle and make no mistake; for the price, it's a solid favorite. This paddle is a steal at this price. Drops, dinks, drop drives, drives, slams, crazy spin shots, this paddle does it all WELL. Pound for pound and for the cost, this paddle is a sold pick, no brainer. I also bought the hybrid Quanta R4. I'm still comparing. The R4 is really good also but I'm currently feeling that I prefer the R2. I strongly believe I prefer the R2 as it stands right now. When I hold the R2 and R4 side by side with the butt of the handle both sitting flat on a surface, the difference in length is extremely marginal at best. 1/4 inch more reach at best if that, but the control benefits that you'll gain with the R2 seem to me to exceed the ever so slight reach advantage of the R4. For $99 dollars with code this is I believe for the money the best paddle currently on the market and on par with WAY more expensive paddles in terms of playability. Out of respect for the other manufactures, I won't list brands and models here, because those other paddles are really good and it depends on personal preference, but I own many of the absolute top paddles on the market right now and none of them have anything on this paddle and I'm not the only one who owns this paddle where I'm from who feels the same way. This paddles to "me" is as good as a $300 + paddle as I've hit them both, for a third of the price. If you want to reach out to me, I can tell you about all the other paddles that I've bought recently (in the last few months) or year, and how they compare.

Excellent control, power and spun. crisp. grip on larger side.
I put 5 grams lead @ 4&6 oclock. face is Not very plush but not hard. Has has a crisp enjoyable feel. extreemly accurate and predictable. power and controll are excelent along with shape. I had a easy time with drops drives and drips and deep return accuracy. even with 10 grams total lead very fast in hands with fast counters @ kitchen. Grip is med, if you have small hands or prefer small grip maby plan on a handle rebuild or look elsewhere. bigger diameter than most.nice largesweet spot. its a very controllsble power paddle. if ur looking for plusher or smaller grip or harder hitting and are not playingv tournaments look at ronbus beta. Its the only paddle i might like more than quanta, I try a lot of padfles. Crazy how great a padfle $120 gets ya in 2025! wow ronbus!

R2 Quanta
Big power, solid control, unbeatable price. Weight it up and never spend 300$ on a paddle again.

Amazing paddle AND amazing value
This paddle is awesome! Out of the box it’s pretty light but I added a little bit of weight to each of the corners and it plays amazing. The feel is crispy off the face and the handle is great in your hand. I highly recommend this paddle if you want great offense without sacrificing stability and forgiveness.

DOES NOT INCLUDE A COVER. Wish it specified this in the description. I've literally never bought a paddle that didn't include a cover, and would have likely purchased one at the same time if that was made clear. Otherwise solid paddle, but prefer the r3 ever so slightly for the extended reach.

Excellent
I've used Ronbus paddles for a long time, since first graduating from my Amazon paddle. I loved the original Ripples, but got burned a bit when they never made it out of beta and I struggled to find a replacement. I ended up finally going over to Joola and mained the Pro IV Scorpeus 16mm for ~7 months but I'm very glad to be coming back to Ronbus and playing the Quanta now. The Quanta was an easy transition back, and at under a $100 it was easily worth the price. My Joola has been replaced 4 times, core crushing after about 70-80hr of play each time and their warranty process was sooo bad and slow. I've hit the Quanta about 40hr so far and it's holding up great and based on its construction I'm not expecting it'll wear out anywhere near as quickly as the Joolas. Great paddle!

Best Yet from Ronbus - Paddle of the Year
The Quanta is the best performing paddle I've ever played with, and it's also the most affordable - unbelievable! In stock form, it's too light to play well, but once sufficient perimeter weighting is added the paddle performs incredibly well. It has more than enough power, pop, control, and a softer feel off the face than the Ripple. The sweet spot is also way bigger than the Ripple. The Quanta is just what I've been asking for from Ronbus as a pickleball enthusiast and paddle nerd: light static weight + low swing weight + affordable value + room for customization/tweaking + awesome performance. If the Ripple 3 follows this formula and finds a way to increase spin / grit duration we will be moving towards a new apex Ronbus paddle. Keep up the good work, Lisa and Dong!

Awesome Paddle.
Have played the R2 shape in the other series in the past and this is by far the best R2 one yet (to me). The soft game is easy and the power and pop off the paddle is more than enough to compete. I love the low static weight which allows me to add my setup (hesacore over stock grip, one overgrip, and edge tape) and still keep the paddle fast at the net. You really can’t go wrong with this paddle, great job!!
